Gulfstream Aerospace is working to step up the pace of deliveries of the new G650, after receiving the G650’s FAA type certificate on September 7 and its production certificate on Dec. 20, 2012. By the end of last year, the airframer had delivered six completed G650s to customers.

Gulfstream handed over the first fully outfitted G650 today to an undisclosed U.S. customer, fulfilling its promise that it would begin deliveries of the clean-sheet ultra-long-range twinjet by the end of the year.
